Le Montmout from Mornas

Park in the car park north of Mornas, along the RN7.

(S/E) Head north on the side road that runs alongside the RN7 for 300 metres.
Turn right to pass under the SNCF bridge and, at the end of the bridge, turn right again for a few metres, then left onto the marked path that heads diagonally north-east.

(1) At the first crossroads, continue along the marked path which veers slightly to the right and joins a small tarmac road. Turn left until you reach the fork at a place called Les Imouladous.

(2) Go left and take the next path on the left until you reach the Route d'Uchaux (D74).
First turn right then left and go up the small tarmac road (Chemin de la Route de Lira, which is no longer tarmac further on). Continue to a fork at a place called Montmout and take the right-hand fork until you reach the signposts.

(3) Turn left and head up to Montmout. Then descend via the main path, which joins a road further on. Turn left to rejoin the D74.

(4) Cross the D74 with caution. Turn right, keeping to the left, until you reach the next path on the left. Go up this path on the left until you reach the crossroads of the circular route.

(1) Turn right onto the path you took on the way out. Pass under the SNCF bridge and join the road which, on the left, leads back to the car park where you started (S/E).
