The starting and finishing point is at the terminus of the (free) line 17 called Auberge Neuve. This line connects with the (free) line 5 at the Souque Nègre stop, which links to Aubagne station via the motorway.
For cars, there is a car park at Place des Écoles, next to the Auberge Neuve stop.
(S) From the Auberge Neuve stop, walk down the road towards the north, then take the road on the left towards Route de la Gare.
At the small roundabout with a cedar tree on the right and a calvary on the left, turn left onto Montée de l'Église. Pass in front of the church and continue to Place de l'Olivier.
(1) Continue on the left, Rue de la République, then quickly turn right onto Rue Neuve. Walk along the left side of the Jean Moulin School Complex, cross the D7 and walk along the left side of Cadolive Town Hall. At the next crossroads, leave Chemin du Tilleul opposite and continue to the right (Chemin de Galice), following the yellow markings. Ignore Chemin du Puits et Louor on the left and, immediately after, at the fork, continue left uphill (Chemin de Galice). At the end of this road, follow Chemin du Jas to the right (towards Mont Julien) and join the start of a path on the left that begins to the right of the entrance to house no. 2.

(2) Walk along the property and climb up to a small pass (magnificent view of the bay of Marseille).
(3) Continue left and uphill, the path follows the ridge. Ignore a path on the left towards the foot of the cliff and further on, turn left towards Mont Julien.
(4) At the top of Mont Julien, enjoy the 360° panorama. Then descend via the path that follows the shoulder towards Marseille Bay (west) and reach a track.
(5) Turn left towards Cadolive on this mountain-side track. Pass cistern 602 and continue to a fork. Turn left and pass cistern 521.
Continue straight ahead, pass a barrier and you will find the start of a path on the right about a hundred metres further on.
(6) Follow this path downhill into a pine forest. At the first houses in Cadolive, turn left onto the concrete track, then take the tarmac road on the left. After a bend, the road joins the D7.
(7) Take Rue du Puits opposite, then keep left to take the path that winds between the olive trees. Continue along Rue du Puits, pass Place du Four and Place du Murier and rejoin the route you have already taken.
(1) Continue to the right, Rue de la République, and follow the same route back to the Auberge Neuve bus stop (S/E).
). You can shorten it even further by taking a small steep path on the left between point 5 and cistern 602.
