Park at Place des Anciens Combattants, near the town hall.
(S/E) Take the Route de Saint-Hernin southwards, continue straight ahead, pass the cemetery and cross the first road.
(1) Turn right towards Parc Mare, where you turn right. At the Goarem Vraz intersection, turn left and pass a transformer on your right. Continue to the first road on the left.
(2) Turn left towards the village of Caboussel and drive through it. After the village, a sign points to the Caradec Fountain.
(3) Turn right to reach the fountain, then retrace your steps and take the path down to the canal.
(4) Continue to the left (picnic area) on the towpath and pass the Stêr lock.
(5) Go under the bridge and continue along the towpath. Pass the Stérvalen lock and continue.
(6) Leaving the towpath, take a sharp left turn and pass through the village of Coatmeur-Baron. You will see a fountain on your left.
(7) At the exit, in the bend, turn right onto the local road.
(8) Turn left and continue for 200 metres.
(9) Turn right, then turn left into the woods and continue straight on towards the village.
(10) At a place called La Bruyère, continue straight on Route de Botaval to return to the car park (S/E).
