Access: at the Hézo roundabout, leave the D780 towards Sarzeau and turn right towards the village of Hézo. Drive through the village, past the old tide mill, and park on the right near the picnic tables.
(S/E) Head left onto the road for a few metres, then turn left onto the embankment.
GR®®34signposting: White and Red
Follow this stone-paved dyke which separates the former salt marshes from the mudflats. This area has become a protected bird sanctuary. At the end of the dyke, continue along the seafront until you reach the Route du Passage.
No signposting
(1) Turn left onto it and, at the first junction with a cross on the right, turn left onto the road leading to Le Pusmen.
(2) After the houses, turn left to follow the path that runs alongside the marsh.

Reach the sea wall, then cross back over it to the right, and return to the starting road.
Turn left, passing the old tidal mill which has been converted into a house.
(3) Turn left onto the coastal path and follow it until you reach a road that bends to the right. Walk past the church, ignoring the road on the right.
(4) Turn left and continue along the coastal path to reach Pointe de la Garenne: view of the Séné Peninsula. Carry on and complete the short circular loop at Corn er Vechen. Continue south-east and join a road where you leave theGR®® trail.

(5) Turn right, then right again to reach the village of Hézo.
(6) Pass a fountain on the right and, at the church, take the small road to the left. Continue, passing the cemetery on the left and the old mill on the right, until you reach the start of the coastal path taken on the way out
Continue southwards, following the Étang du Hézo on your left, until you reach the starting point (S/E).
