The start point is at the nature reserve car park.
(S/E) Leave the car park and follow the road to the left towards the west for about 500m, then turn right onto the path towards the hamlet of Falguérec. Walk straight through the hamlet, ignoring the road on the left, before joining a path leading to the hamlet of Les Quatre Vents. Return to the tarmac road and walk through the hamlet, keeping to the left.
(1) At the first junction on the left, take the path on the left until the next junction.
(2) Turn left and follow a tree-lined lane.
(3) When you reach the road, turn right onto the path running parallel to the road, then cross the road as soon as possible and follow the path opposite.
(4) Turn left towards the hamlet of La Croix Neuve. Turn right before reaching the hamlet, following the sign for “Le Goah Vèr” or Le Gouavert. Continue to the next junction and keep to the right.
(5) Turn left towards Cressignan and Michotte.
(6) At the hamlet of Cressignan, turn left then keep to the right, follow Route de Cressignan then Route de Michotte, crossing Route du Prato. Once in the hamlet of Michotte, follow the signs for “Réserve naturelle” and continue to the end of the tarmac road.
(7) Enjoy this beautiful view over the marshes and take a look at the starting point. Go round the house, following the path and the yellow markers and signs indicating the reserve (GR®34). Cross the road to take the path opposite, before joining a good track to follow on the right.
(8) At the end of the straight stretch, turn right, cross a road and continue along the good path opposite. Join a road—the one you took at the start—turn right to reach the nature reserve car park (S/E).
