Departure from the Priory of Blanzey - Municipality of Bouxières-aux-Chênes.
(S/E) Take theGR®5north (red and white markings), uphill. You will come out onto a wide path. Cross a plateau of crops until you reach the foot of a high-voltage power line.
(1) Turn left onto the path marked with a blue disc and follow it for about 700 metres.
(2) Turn right onto theGR®5, which merges with theGRP® (GR® de Pays around Nancy).
(3) After about 1,400 metres, you will reach a wide path. Continue to follow theGR®5. After about 2,400 metres, this wide path joins a crossroads with several other paths.
(4) Take the path on the left towards the yellow signpost marked "Lay Saint Christophe 1h30". After 700m on this path, turn left at the yellow signpost marked "Lay Saint Christophe 1h15"
(5) Walk 1000m along the path marked with a yellow disc and leave the wide path to take the yellow disc trail. After 600m, leave the yellow disc path and take a small downhill trail. Follow the yellow signposts to head towards the Chavenois pond. 500 metres after the pond, turn left onto the Chemin de Faulx uphill.
(6) 1,700 metres after this climb, turn right towards the Rang (or Beauchamps) farm.
(7) Cross the plateau and descend towards Eulmont via Rue de Metz.
(8) Pass in front of Eulmont Castle and turn left onto Chemin du Val. After 300 metres, descend to the right, passing in front of a fountain (water not drinkable).
(9) Follow the path down to a small stream. To reach the Priory of Blanzey (S/E), there is only 800 metres of a beautiful climb left.
