Departure from the free car park, Route de Moulinols, D90.
(S/E) Follow the D901 for 100 m, heading south. At the medieval bridge (D232), take the stairs on the left to Rue Charlemagne.
(1) Turn right and climb up to the Chapelle Saint-Roch to admire the view over Conques, then descend to return to Rue Charlemagne.
(1) Turn right, go through the Porte du Barry and climb up to Rue de l'Abbé Gonzague Florens.
(2) At Place du Parvis, go around the Abbaye Sainte-Foy on the left and follow Rue Parayre to the upper car park.
(3) Turn left, then immediately right, join Route de Sénergues and continue straight ahead, leaving Route du Vignoble on your left.
(4) After about 150 m on Route de Sénergues, at the end of the right-hand bend, leave the road and take the path on the left, which is slightly hidden by vegetation, joining Chemin des Colombiers and the GR®65.
(5) Turn right onto Chemin des Vignes and continue along the path. After a steep climb, the path comes to a crossroads.
(6) Keep left and follow Chemin des Vignes through the Conques vineyard. The path loops around these heights, offering a lovely view of the valley.
(7) Cross the Route du Vignoble, go down Rue Mérimée opposite, turn left into Rue du Couvent, then right into Rue du Château leading to the centre of Conques and the Abbaye Sainte-Foy (avoid visiting during religious services).
(2) To return to the car park (S/E), follow Rue de l'Abbé Gonzague Florens, then Route du Vignoble D42 as shown on the map (or go back down Rue Charlemagne, the same route you took on the way there).
