Park at Place de la Mairie (S/E) near the Portal Bas porch. Take the cobbled street leading up to Saint-Barthélémy Church. Turn left onto a narrow, very steep path lined with low walls (this ancient path leading up to the plateau was used by the rebels of "la petite église") to Limon. After a first flat section, climb up through the chestnut trees on a narrow path to reach a forest track leading to Limon.
(1) Descend to the right on a grassy track with a short, fairly steep section (caution). Reach the small road leading to the Château du Puech. Continue downhill to the left for 100 metres to Cantagrel. Take a sharp right turn onto a very pleasant dirt track that passes below the château (beautiful view of this private residence, the keep dates from the 15th century). During the descent, cross the Escalans Hauts housing estate.
(2) At a granite calvary, turn left for 40 metres until you reach the cemetery. Turn right, following the boundary wall, and you will come out onto Rue Basse. Turn left for 30 metres until you reach the leisure area and the campsite. Continue to the hamlet of Le Roc.
(3) Turn left, passing in front of the emergency services centre. Turn right and cross the Dourdou river. After the sports ground, turn right. Follow a pleasant level path (view of the village) and rejoin the D13 then the D22 at the Roc crossroads.
(3) Enter the village and continue to the goat market, then turn right onto Rue Droite and continue to Portal Bas (clock tower). This street is lined with beautiful renovated old houses. Renaissance façades, half-timbered façades and 19th-century bourgeois houses stand side by side. Head to the car park (S/E).
