Description of the walk

Depuis Saint-Rambert-en-Bugey, prendre la D1504 en direction de Belley et s'arrêter à Tenay. Nombreux stationnements gratuits au centre de Tenay.

(S/E) Le départ se fait au pont enjambant l'Albarine. Prendre la route (le Cordaret) juste après le pont à droite et qui longe l'Albarine. Continuer jusqu'au premier sentier de gauche, Sentier du Facteur.

(1) Emprunter ce dernier et continuer à monter jusqu'au premier croisement.

(2) Prendre à gauche la sente sur la crête sur 150 m jusqu'au rocher sommital

(3) Profiter du site. Il est possible de monter sur la crête rocheuse en suivant une sente sur le côté droit des falaises. Quelques pas d'escalade, attention à ne pas glisser, mènent à un beau point de vue au sommet de Château Narteau à côté du rocher attaché par des câbles. La vue sur Tenay en contrebas et sur les gorges de l'Albarine et exceptionnelle.

Il est possible de continuer le sentier du facteur jusqu'au point de vue au parking de la via ferrata. De là, l'accès au village d'Hostiaz se fait en 20 min sur des pistes forestières où on trouve un bar et un restaurant.
