This hike starts in the hamlet of Lugné, in the commune of Cessenon-sur-Orb, on the D14 towards Roquebrun. Park in the square in the centre of the hamlet near the Statue of Liberty. I recommend taking a stroll through this little hamlet with its paved slanting streets.
(S/E) Take the Chemin des Eucalyptus for 1 km (small paved road), pass the dog kennel and continue to the intersection with the forest track (signposted DFCI AVA10 + Pension 4 os).
(1) Take the forest track on the right.
(2) At the crossroads, ignore the track on the right that leads to the orientation table and continue left towards the Sentier des Eucalyptus.
(3) At the three-way junction, keep left and follow the Sentier des Eucalyptus (signposted variant 2.5 km towards point 3-2-1)
(4) At the DFCI 525 water tank, turn left and stay on the main track.
(5) At the next junction, ignore the track that branches off to the right and follow the one on the left.
(6) Stay on the left track.
(7) Turn left onto the dirt road that runs alongside the vineyards until you reach the car park.
(8) At the car park, turn left onto the tarmac road to return to the junction you passed on the way there.
(1) Continue on the right and return to the starting point via the same route as on the way there (S/E).
