Starting point and access: Javel station.
- Metro - Line 10. Take exit 1 Quai André Citroën.
- RER - Line C. Take the Pont Mirabeau exit, at the front of the train when travelling towards Versailles/Saint-Quentin, at the rear of the train when travelling towards Paris-Austerlitz.

(S) When you exit the underground station, go straight ahead and cross Quai André Citroën at the traffic lights. Then turn left and then right, pass in front of the RER station entrance and take the Pont Mirabeau, under which, as everyone knows, flows the Seine. On the other side, turn left and follow Quai Louis Blériot. Leaning over the balustrade, you can see the boat-shaped bridge pier with an allegory of the city of Paris at its bow. Note, on the right-hand side, the Pavillon de l'Eau, on the site of a former pumping station for water from the Seine to the Passy reservoirs.
(1) Take the first right, Rue Wilhem. Cross Avenue de Versailles and continue along Rue de Wilhem. At the next intersection, turn right onto Rue Mirabeau. Cross Rue Narcisse Diaz on the right-hand side and continue straight ahead (eagles on the gate at no. 7). At the crossroads, take the first left, Rue de Rémusat, then the first right, Rue Félicien David. Continue straight ahead (dog on the front door of a shop at no. 20).
(2) At the end, turn left onto Rue Gros. Cross Rue Théophile Gautier (two lion heads on balcony corbels above the front of a pharmacy) and continue along Rue Gros. Cross Rue Agar on the left-hand side (plaque in honour of the artist who gave his name to this street; birds on the window of the corner shop). Then turn right onto Rue La Fontaine. Note Castel Béranger at No. 18, an Art Nouveau building designed by the architect Guimard, with rich decoration, including a cat in bas-relief under a window. Also note the lion heads: one on the gate atNo. 8ter, two at No. 4. At the crossroads, go up to the left onto Rue de Boulainvilliers.
(3) Turn left onto Rue du Ranelagh. Some buildings feature mascarons on their façades, notably at No. 65. Further on, turn right onto Rue Gustave Zédé (lion heads and mascarons on the corner building). Continue along this street when it becomes pedestrianised and walk past a school on your right. At the end, turn left then right onto Rue Pajou (beautiful townhouse at No. 5). At the end, first turn left then right onto Avenue Mozart. Soon turn right onto Rue Bois-le-Vent and go straight ahead until the end. At No. 24, a building dating from 1900 has a neo-Gothic façade with a cat medallion.
(4) Then turn left and cross Place de Passy (Wallace fountain). Cross Rue de Passy and continue straight ahead on Rue Vital (lion heads at No. 43, one above the gate, two on the windows). Take the first left onto Rue Paul Delaroche (Art Nouveau buildings on the right-hand side). At the end, cross Avenue Paul Doumer at the pedestrian crossing on the left, then turn left onto Rue Faustin Hélie. Take the first right, Rue Marcelline Desbordes-Valmore. Between numbers 22 and 10, there are beautiful townhouses, some with neo-Gothic façades.
(5) At the end of the street, turn left onto Rue de la Tour (at no. 98, Art Nouveau building with sunflowers). Cross Rue de la Pompe and continue along Rue de la Tour (at no. 117, a building dating from 1921 with bats or vampires at the base of the balcony corbels). Then turn right onto Rue Mignard. Cross Avenue Henri Martin using the pedestrian crossing on the right-hand side.
(6) Immediately first turn left then right to enter Square Lamartine (statue in his honour). Cross the square, passing by playgrounds and through a few gates. You will come to a fountain fed by an artesian well. Leave the square and you will come to a crossroads.
(7) Go around the crossroads on the left, starting by crossing Avenue Victor Hugo. At the corner of Rue Dufrénoy and Rue Benjamin Godard, note a richly decorated building with ram's heads on top of the corbels of the second-floor balcony. Cross Rue Godard and take the next left, Rue Spontini (sunflowers on the facades of nos. 66 and 64). At the traffic lights, turn left onto Rue de Longchamp and continue to the next traffic lights.
(8) Turn right onto Rue de la Faisanderie (snakes on the gate handles at No. 49) then right again onto Rue Benouville. At the crossroads, take the second left onto Rue de Noisiel. At the end, turn left onto Rue Émile Ménier (children above the gate at No. 45) and continue to the end of the street.
(9) Then turn sharply right and go up Rue des Belles Feuilles to Place Jean Monnet. Go around the square on the right and continue along Rue des Belles Feuilles. You will come to Place de Mexico (with a metal sculpture in the centre). Go around the square on the left and take the second exit, Rue de Longchamp. Take the first left, Rue Lauriston, and at the end, cross Avenue Raymond Poincaré.
(10) Follow the avenue to the right. Make a quick return trip to the left to see some beautiful houses at the end of Villa Malakoff. Continue along Avenue Raymond Poincaré to Place du Trocadéro (with the equestrian statue of Marshal Foch in the centre) and you will immediately find a metro station on your left (E).
