Description of the walk

Start: Park in the car park below the main road.

Waymarkers: Orange triangle.

(S/E) The hike starts at the car park and crosses the torrent via a suspension footbridge. Follow the fairly wide path at the beginning of the route and use the well-maintained path along the torrent. The path climbs steadily through the woodland. Be careful to watch for many roots along the way.

(1) At a gully, the path goes over its edge and carries on its obvious course straight on. There is an orange waymarker in from of you easy to miss. Before reaching the lake, there are toilets on the right.

(2) If the lake is not too filled up, enjoy its surroundings before taking the opposite route back down to the car park (S/E).
