Description of the walk

Start: Park along the roadside along the Te Anau Milford Highway at Mirror Lakes.

(S/E) Leave the road to take a downhill path left; it soon becomes a boardwalk so be careful it can be slippery when raining. As you reach the edge of the lake, continue along the boardwalk.

(1) Pass a first viewpoint, then a second, and continue along this route until you reach the road again. Turn right and follow the road back to where you parked (S/E).

Great little stop on the way to the Milfords! As mentioned, this is an extremely popular spot and it's best to stop early in the morning or at the end of the day. Don't forget your camera and go when it's not windy. A must do!
