Starting point at the junction of Avenue de l’Armagnac and Route de Nogaro.
(S/E) Take the path on the left coming from Aignan which leads to the campsite, then turn right at the first junction. Follow the Chemin de Blanin to the hamlet of Mare du Moulin.
(1) Turn right onto the path leading to the hamlet of Le Bournac, then follow the track until you reach the D48.
(2) Turn left and follow the road. At the next junction , turn right (take care when crossing). Continue along this tarmac road, then along a dirt track until you reach the junction at the hamlet of Le Muc.
(3) Turn left onto the road from Loubedat to Aignan, then take the first forest track on the right. Continue down this forest track until you reach the crossroads.
(4) Ignore the path on the right and take the one opposite. Further on, ignore two other paths on the right and continue straight ahead until you reach a junction with a tarmac road.
(5) Turn right, take the path uphill, then turn left onto the path along the lake’s embankment. Go round the buildings at the lakeside and continue along the banks. Cross a causeway and carry on to the crossroads in the forest, near the water point.
(6) Turn left and take the forest path uphill. Continue along this path, passing a first path on the left and then a second path on the right. Continue along this path until the next junction at the highest point (221 m).
(7) Turn right and continue to the junction with a tarmac road.
(8) Head straight on and continue until you reach the pylon on your right. Turn onto the forest track on the right and make sure you stay on this track, heading straight on until you reach the tarmac road, passing a track on your right.
(9) Take the tarmac road straight ahead to the hamlet of Le Muc, and return to the junction you passed on the way out.
Then follow the outward route in the opposite direction:
(3) Turn left and take the track leading to the D48 road. Turn left and follow it.
(2) Take the first path on your right (take care when crossing the road) and continue up this path to the hamlet of Mare du Moulin.
(1) Turn left onto Chemin de Blanin and, following the reverse route of the outward journey, head to the junction of Route de Nogaro and Avenue de l’Armagnac (S/E).
