Start at the Lac des Pises car park.
(S/E) Facing the lake sign, take the forest track furthest to the right (unmarked) and head south-west. At the crossroads, go straight ahead. The track climbs and reaches a viewpoint over the lake.
(1) At the next junction, turn left onto a path that is closed to motor vehicles. Follow this path to reach the Observatoire des Pises.
(2) Take the path on the left that descends towards the lake (red/white markings). Cross the footbridge over the Lingas Stream and walk along the lake.
(3) At the reservoir, descend to the foot of the dam (yellow markings), cross a small stream and take the path on the right. Stay on this main path.
(4) At the entrance to a left-hand bend, leave the path and go straight ahead along a trail in the forest towards the Lingas Forest. Immediately cross another path and continue along the marked trail in the forest. The path turns left and runs alongside a river. Cross the river via a footbridge and immediately turn left, continuing alongside the river. You will arrive at a car park.
(5) At the car park exit, turn left and cross the river again. At the fork immediately ahead, turn left onto a forest track. Ignore the first path on the right and, after about 20 metres, take a path on the right (not shown on the map). Then turn left and continue south through the forest, on the path that runs parallel to the forest track.
(6) At the end, turn right (north-west) and climb steeply. At the top, at an intersection, turn left. The path eventually descends to the lake shore. Follow the path to the right. At the tip of the lake, take one last footbridge.
(7) At the intersection just after, turn right. At the fork, stay right on the marked path and follow it to the car park (S/E).
