Park at the Chastellan car park, accessible on the right from La Blache: the ‘Parking’ sign on the IGN map is no longer valid.
(S/E) Take the track climbing up to the left and follow the signs for Belvédère de l’Aigle. You’ll reach a three-way junction.
(1) Turn right, pass close to a building and follow a few hairpin bends before reaching the Belvédère de l'Aigle: a lovely viewpoint with a table and benches.
(2) Leave the track to the right and climb the very stony path. Go straight on at the first junction, then turn right onto the path that climbs up and leads to the Peyre de l'Aigle.
(3) Climb a little further to the left to enjoy a fine view of the valley and the Aiguilles de Chabrières.
(4) Return to the junction.
(3) Turn left to follow the small path marked in yellow which passes behind the rock. Reach a junction marked by the signpost “Salados”.
(5) Continue down the slope to reach another junction: signpost “les Casses”.
(6) Continue downhill until you reach a track.
(7) Turn right and walk for about 150 m.
(8) Leave the track and take a small path downhill, passing Les Garcins Hauts and reaching Les Garçins Bas at a bend in the track.
(9) Follow the path on the right alongside the houses to avoid a hairpin bend on the track. Join the track again further down and follow it to the right to return to the car park (S/E)
