The White Cross in Tourzel-Ronzières

There is a small, haphazardly arranged car park on the left at the entrance to Tourzel-Roncières, past a cross when approaching from Meilhaud.

(S/E) Take the small street that leads down to the Lodge du Moulin des Volontaires.

(1) Cross the stream, then take the path on the left; 100 metres further on, at the Fork in the road, turn left. Pass under a power line and you’ll reach a junction.

(2) Turn left. The path goes downhill for a while, then climbs back up to the D23.

(3) Turn right onto it and, at the next hairpin bend, take the path branching off to the left. After about 600 m, ignore the path branching off to the left at a right angle.

(4) Continue to the next Fork in the road. 400 m further on, ignore the path leading down to the right and take the path straight ahead, continuing until you reach the 597-metre mark.

(5) There, turn sharply left onto the path that begins to climb and continue to the first junction in the woods.

(6) Turn left again at a 90° angle and follow the path to the houses where it rejoins the road, 100 m from the car park, on the right (S/E).
