In Pontgibaud, head towards Saint-Ours-les-Roches via the D941b, then the D943. In Saint-Ours, turn left towards Les Ancizes. In Les Ancizes, take the D63 towards the Chartreuse de Port-Sainte-Marie. Park on the right-hand side of the road just before the Les Ancizes exit sign.
(S/E) From the starting point sign, take Chemin des Creux. Continue along this path, keeping to the left until you reach an intersection.
(1) Go down the path on the right (viewpoint over the meanders of the Sioule). Continue downhill through the woods, keeping to the left until you reach La Sioule. Follow it to the ruins of the Chartreuse de Port-Sainte-Marie.
(2) Take the path opposite the main entrance (sign). At the next crossroads, continue uphill on the left and join the D61.
(3) Take it on the left and, after about 200 m, turn onto a path that descends to the left. Cross over a stream, then follow it before climbing back up into the woods.
(4) At the fork, take the small path on the right and continue climbing, keeping to the right until you reach the D61.
(5) Cross it and climb the path opposite, straight ahead until you reach an intersection.
(6) Take the path on the left, going backwards. When you reach the road, opposite the cross, go down Rue de la Chartreuse on the left and return to the starting point (S/E).
