The hike starts at the car park of the Domaine Régional de Saint-Thibault on the D41 near the village of Montgé-en-Goële (Seine et Marne) between the junctions of the D41 with the D41E1 and the D44 with the D401, which connects Dammartin-en-Goële to Saint-Soupplets.

(S/E) Go up the track that leaves from the car park and enters the forest until you reach a small stream, which you cross via a small bridge.
(1) Continue until you reach a clearing, go around it on the left and exit on the left to find the access road to a car park near the equestrian centre
(2) Take the track that climbs in front of you, ignoring the paths to the right and left. Walk along this track for about a kilometre until you reach the cemetery and reservoirs buried under a grassy mound.

(3) Turn left to pass between the reservoirs and the cemetery. A little further on, you will see the radio tower on your left. Continue straight ahead until you reach the crossroads in a bend.
(4) Take the path downhill on your right and follow it, making sure to keep an eye out for the markings. The path winds along the ridge for approximately 1.5 km. Stay on the main marked path, ignoring the paths to the right and left.
(5) When you reach a junction of two forest tracks, turn right to descend towards the D9, which you will cross 200 m further on. Cross the D9 and continue for about 1.5 km, ignoring all other paths, until you reach a barely marked pass.
(6) Turn right at a 90° angle onto the path that descends. When you reach the edge of the forest, turn right and continue to the wide agricultural track where theGR® turns left.
No markings
(7) Leave theGR® and follow the farm track on your right.
Pass the hamlet of Chambrefontaine, the old Cuisy railway station (now a small building in very poor condition) and the village of Cuisy.
(8) Cross the D54 and continue straight ahead; the road becomes a farm track a little further on. This track leads to the Route de Cuisy in the village of Montgé-en-Goële. Cross the next crossroads and take Rue de la Ferme d'en Bas opposite.
(9) At the next junction near the Foyer Rural, turn right onto Rue du Pré Huard, which climbs towards the centre of the village. It crosses the D9 and joins the D41E1.
(10) Turn left and follow the D41E1 for 500 metres until you reach the path.
(11) Turn right onto the path, which quickly becomes a track and makes a wide circular loop to the right to reach the equestrian centre. Turn right onto the road to reach the car park.
(2) Enter the park clearing on the left and go around the small lake on the left. Follow the path along the stream to the small bridge.
(1) Turn left and descend to the car park (S/E).
