Departure from Cuisy, Rue du Bourget, in front of the Town Hall (car park).
No signposts
(S/E) Head towards the church (east) and take the first street on the right (Rue du Général de Gaulle).
(1) At the intersection, turn right onto Rue du Jeu d'Arc. Cross at the next intersection and continue straight ahead onto Chemin de la Turcante. After the buildings on the right (training centre), continue straight ahead at the crossroads and the road becomes a dirt track.
(2) At the fork, turn right in front of the grove. Continue to the paved road (Route de Cuisy). Turn left at the fork-shaped intersection, then go straight on Rue de la Ferme d'en Bas until the end. When you reach the road, turn left and then take the path immediately on the right.
(3) After the copse, at the T-junction, turn left, then take the first right (cross). Turn left at the edge of the forest and continue south-west.
(4) When you reach the road, turn right. Be careful, as this is a busy road. Stay on the right-hand shoulder, which has a grassy section. Continue to the next junction (Croix-de-Sainte-Barbe on the left) and turn right. Follow either the path on the right or the left (tree-lined avenue) towards the forest.
(5) Turn left at the edge of the forest. Follow the path that crosses a stream.
(6) At the intersection, turn right and continue north-east (the path runs alongside the Ru de la Maquerelle stream on the right). Continue along the path heading north, ignoring the paths that branch off to the left.

(7) At the crossroads, turn right towards the forest. Continue eastwards, cross the Bois de l'Oratoire and continue along the edge of the forest. At the fork, turn right, then left.
(8) Turn right at the next intersection (meadow on the left). Continue south-east to the village of Montgé-en-Goële (Rue des Blossiers). The street climbs steeply. At the top, turn left then right (Rue du Vieux Château) and pass in front of the church.
(9) In front of the town hall, take the street opposite (Rue Neuve), then the first left (Rue du Sépulcre). The street becomes a path that climbs steeply towards the forest. At the top of the hill, turn right at the fork. There is a charming little cemetery on the right with an unobstructed view of the plain. Pass in front of the radio tower.
(10) At the bend, leave the wide path and take theGR® trail opposite. Continue along the trail, which winds along a ridge line towards the east, ignoring the secondary trails (always follow the red and white markings). When you reach a roundabout, theGR® turns right onto a wide forest track that climbs uphill. Take a path on the right just before a metal gutter crosses the track (no markings!).(NB: if you miss the path on the right, you will rejoin the main route at the next crossing point). At the fork that appears shortly afterwards, turn left and you will find the markings again. At the end of the path, rejoin the forest track.
(11) At the junction of two forest roads, turn right until you reach the road (take care when crossing). Take the path opposite.
(12) When you reach a small pass, follow the path downhill to the right. Continue south and follow the edge of the forest to the crossroads.

(13) At the crossroads, leave theGR® which branches off to the left and turn right. Pass in front of the hamlet of Chambre Fontaine and continue westwards.
(14) At the road, turn right towards Cuisy.
(1) At the intersection taken at the start of the hike, turn right onto Rue du Général de Gaulle to return to the starting point (Rue du Bourget on the left). (S/E).
