To get to the starting point, from the church in Murat-le-Quaire, take the D609, follow it to the end and park in the car park near the Refuge de la Banne.
(S/E) Take the track that starts at the corner of the car park and follow it to the Col de Saint-Laurent.
(1) Turn right and reach the stairs that climb up to the Banne d'Ordanche.
(2) Turn left and climb to the summit with its orientation table.
(3) After enjoying the view, return along the same path to Col de Saint-Laurent.
(1) Continue straight ahead on a grassy, poorly marked path and head along the top of the ridge to the Borne des Quatre Seigneurs.
(4) Pass the site's barriers and continue in the same direction to the summit of Puy Loup with its circular shelter.
(5) Then return along the same route you came, to the car park near the Refuge de la Banne (S/E).
Very beautiful walk, not too busy route.
