Park at the foot of the bridge over the Mare à Andabre.
(S/E) Cross the bridge, then take the GRP® on the right, which goes up along the river on its right bank: yellow and red markings.
(1) After 1.5 km, don't miss the intersection (small wooden signpost) on the left towards the Chapelle Saint-Eutrope. From there, there are no more markings, so leave the GRP® and simply follow the cairns and the narrow single track path that climbs into the forest, then along the hillside, until you reach the chapel: be careful, some of the rocky sections are a little dizzying and should be avoided in wet weather due to the risk of slipping.
(2) After visiting the chapel, continue along the ridge path, which climbs up to the plateau. Use the cairns to help you find the path that climbs upwards, as there are no markings. Climb gradually through the moorland and rocky terrain and enjoy the fresh air. The surrounding landscapes are magnificent. After a good hour from the chapel, you will reach the plateau, which rises to an altitude of over 1,000 metres.
(3) Head towards the large cairn and enjoy the unobstructed view in good weather, towards Pic Saint-Loup, Pic du Vissou, the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees! Continue along the path that descends to the left into the meadow, towards Serre de Majous. Follow the blue markings (discreet), descend over the rocks towards Portail de Roquandouire, visible in the distance after an hour's walk. After a final steep and technical descent over the rocks, you will reach an intersection with the white and red marked GR® trail.
(4) Take it to the left, towards the Portail de Roquandouire.
(5) Once at the gate, do not go through it, but take the yellow markings on the left which descend towards Andabre. The path zigzags through the broom, then through the forest and reaches the entrance to the village. Take the opportunity to dip your tired feet in the river to relax, then return to the car park (S/E).
