A short and busy hike with a wide view of the Huddleston Glacier and Mount Cook. Don't arrive too late to find a place easily.

Description of the walk

Start: Park in the car park, then go to the building with the toilets.

(S/E) From the building, go directly left between the parked vehicles staying overnight, up this driveway where the path really begins. The path is wide and pebbly.

(1) At the first junction, keep right to continue gently uphill. At the next junction, keep to the right as well and carry on up to the viewpoint of the Glacier and Mount Cook.

(2) Retrace your steps back to the starting parking lot. (S/E)
