(S/E) Depart from the car park of the Jacques Anquetil multipurpose hall on Rue Victor Hugo. Behind the school, turn left, walk past the school and turn right onto Rue Henri Dunant. Cross Rue Pierre et Marie Curie and follow Rue de l'Egalité (follow the red and yellow markers) uphill.
Take the first right, continue straight ahead, after the left-hand bend, take the path that enters the forest straight ahead.
(1) At the first intersection 300 m away, take the path on the left. At the intersection 100 m further on, continue straight ahead on the "route Louise" path, which then turns right. 500 m further on, at the crossroads, take the path opposite, which slopes diagonally to the right.
After 60 metres, turn left onto the path and follow it for 400 metres. There, a sign (if it has been repaired) will indicate Quesne au Loup on the right. Go down the path. After Quesne au Loup, turn left and immediately left again onto the marked path that climbs towards "Pierre Bise".
(2) Pierre Bise is 50 m away. After 250 m, turn right towards Siège Madame.
(3) At the Siège Madame signpost, head straight ahead towards Mont à Cailleux (indicated by the signpost).
At the end of the path, at the intersection with the pottery road, turn left. After 600 m, in the left-hand bend, turn onto the path on your right.
(4) Turn onto the second path on the left. At the end of the path, 500 m away, turn left at the intersection and immediately take the path on the right. Follow the path to the tarmac road. Turn right and continue to the D58, 50 m away.
(5) At the crossroads, take the path opposite. After 200 m, take the road on the left, follow it for 100 m and take the path on the right that runs along the edge of the forest. Follow the edge for 700 m and, at the T-junction, take the path on the left (yellow markings) which descends quite steeply after 100 m to join the D126 road.
(6) You will arrive at the Hêtre des Princes signpost. Take the "route Adélaïde" path opposite, indicated by the signpost (leaving the D126 and C4 on your left). A sign indicates the route Adélaide. The path climbs to the left and forms a large S.
(7) 500 metres after the large S-bend, at the crossroads, take the path on the left which slopes downwards. After 800 metres, you will arrive at the road. Take the path which immediately turns right.
(8) Pass the pumping station on your right; the path follows the high-voltage line and passes underneath it. After 200 metres, turn right. Continue for 500 metres.
(9) At the right-hand bend, take the path that branches off to the left (ignore the first path at the bottom of the valley), follow the path uphill and after 300 metres you will come out of the forest. Continue along the white path on the hillside that runs alongside the valley.
(10) At the first intersection 1,500 metres further on, turn left for 50 metres to reach Victor Hugo Road, turn right and you will return to the starting point (S/E).
