The departure point is at the Pins car park, near the Puits de Raimu. Coming from Marseille, cross Éoures and take the small road (D44) above a hill, towards the farmhouse inn, Font de Mai. Continue for about 1 km.
(S/E) From the car park, take the road on the left towards Col d'Aubignane (or Garlaban). Follow the road to the end (barrier) at a bend on the right. Opposite you, you can admire the Mas de Massacan, filmed by Marcel Pagnol in "Manon des Sources". Continue to the left.
(1) Shortly before Col d'Aubignane, at the "Ferme d'Angèle" signs, look up to your left: Barres du Saint Esprit. You will also see the ruins of the village of Aubignane, used as a backdrop for the film "Regain".
(2) At the Col d'Aubignane, turn right towards Garlaban and climb straight up, cutting across the hairpin bends of the track. During this climb, you will see the Baume des Pestiférés, Petite and Grande Tête Rouge, Tête Ronde and Taoumé on the horizon to your left. Behind you, Marseille will gradually come into view, along with the Ruissatel.
(3) At this fork, go straight ahead and turn right. Continue straight ahead until you reach a cairn and turn left. Continue climbing and count one more cairn before arriving at a crossroads where you should turn left and continue for a few dozen metres.
(4) Turn left: a sign on the ground will indicate "Atelier" and "Gravures". Enter this area and follow the signs: you will be able to admire around fifty engravings on various rocks to the right and left. Don't forget to admire the panoramic views in the distance, which make for some lovely photos. Then head back down the same route.
(3) Take the path on your right that descends to the Baume du Plantier.
(5) La Baume du Plantier: Manon des Sources' cave. You will see this beautiful covered platform and, as soon as you arrive, you will see the holes on the left, high up, which were used to support the roof of the hut that was built for the film. Leave the cave by the same way you entered and take the path that descends to your left. At the first fork, follow the signs for "Col d'Aubignane - La Treille" on the left.
(2) At Col d'Aubignane, continue straight ahead for about 100 metres.
(1) Turn right until you reach Angèle's farm. Once you reach the ruins, turn left and follow a path that joins the main track you just left. Continue to the right, retracing your steps.
Shortly before arriving, turn right to pass in front of the Puits de Raimu and return to the car park (S/E).
