Sturdy footwear covering the ankles with good tread. Clothing suitable for the terrain depending on the season; a change of clothes for children may be necessary due to the proximity of the stream.

The ‘AugenBlick’ viewpoints are designed in the style of the nature park’s logo – the distinctive ‘nature park eye’ – and also serve as the starting point for a circular walk, the ‘AugenBlick-Runde’. Let your gaze wander and discover the diverse natural and cultural landscape of the nature park!

Start from the Sarbacher Hotel in Kaltenbronn (Gernsbach). Several large car parks are available, so it's fairly easy to find a space. The car parks are connected by a tarmac footpath. Ideal hike for a family outing. No steep or technical slopes. There is a very long wooden pontoon leading to a well-preserved pond. Pets are allowed along the entire route. The trail is well marked with the option to extend the route.
