Start: Avinguda Portals Vells street, Sol de Mallorca

(S) From the "Avinguda Portals Vells street", find stairs going down to the little port "Portals Vells". Keep going right down the stairs and not the pavement to find a path on your right below the housings. This path reach the first sandy beach. Keep the water on tour left-hand-side and go past the left-hand-side of the building to find a path up to a lane and viewpoint.
(1) After enjoying the view of the bay and caves located in front of you, carry on down the lane towards El Mago restaurant. Be careful of cars on your way down. As you reach the restaurant, walk past it through the beach and the building on your right-hand side. You will find steps going up from the corner of the terrace.
When you are up the stairs, keep left along the coastline to reach another bigger beach and restaurant "Cala Portals Vells". On the way be really careful going down the rocks and enjoy the cave on your right-hand side.
Carry on walking along the beachfront (South) towards a tiny building. Go past that building to get to another tiny beach. In front of you, seek a footpath that will bring you left towards the caves. Mind your steps in that area. Keep the water on your left-hand side as you reach the caves. They used to be an extraction site and now you can find some interesting carvings to enjoy.
(2) When you finished enjoying the caves, walk back to the beach you came from, however when you encounter a path junction with a path going up on your left, take it. Go up the hill to reach a plateau where vans park. Cross the parking straight ahead towards the coastline and reach a cliff and viewpoint.
From this spot, turn right to find your way along one of the paths going along the coastline with the water on your left-hand side. After 840 m or so, you reach a cove "Cala en Beltran".
(3) Here you have to follow the path going "inland" along the cove still keeping the water on your left-hand side. Follow any path you see, keeping close to the coastline being really careful where you put your feet as you come closer to the cliff.
The path is going down along the cliff, find the way to the cave on your right-hand side to get down to the cove for a swim and rest "Cova des Cantell" in the "Cala Figuera". From the beach, if you go a little further, you will be able to see another sandy cave in front of you that is nice to visit. When you finished enjoying this area, walk the same way back as you came from. (E)
