Park at the side of the small road near the Loudon ponds.
(S/E) Start by going up this small road, heading north, and reach the hamlet of Loudonneaux.
(1) Turn right at Champ des Rochers and take rural path no. 42, known as Gué-Boussas. Pass the houses and go up a dirt track. Continue straight ahead on a grassy path and go around the last house on the left. Then take a wooded path. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead. Ignore the path on the right. At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead. Join a wider path and follow its S-shaped curve.
(2) At the crossroads, continue to the right, then turn left and take the rural path Les Bouleaux (no. 39). Continue through the pine woods. Reach a road and continue straight ahead.
(3) At La Garenne, turn left onto rural path no. 38 from La Préfecture to Les Aunais. Continue between the hedges. At the crossroads, ignore the hamlet of La Pelouse and take the road on the left.
(4) At the start of a wide bend, turn right onto a tarmac road towards the hamlet of Grand Bois Loudon, opposite the rural road of La Tabarelle. Then climb through the undergrowth on a stony path. Head towards the houses. Walk past the last house and turn left at a barn onto a smaller path carved out of the undergrowth (not shown on the IGN map). Head back towards the houses.
(5) At the fork, continue straight ahead, turn left onto the path to pass La Ricordière and return to the starting point.
Follow it to the right to return to the ponds and your vehicle (S/E).
