Park on Rue du Port Douar, where there are a few parking spaces.
(S/E) Take Rue du Treno, which will take you to Plage du Treno. Walk along the beach on the right-hand side as far as the Bilgroix headland. At the statue of Sainte-Anne, you’ll have a view of the entrance to the Gulf of Morbihan and Locmariaquer opposite.
(1) Retrace your steps to return to the starting point.
(S/E) Head up Rue du Port Douar to the left. At number 25, a sign points to the coastal path, which runs between two properties. You’ll once again be able to walk along the coast and reach another viewpoint overlooking Île Longue.
(2) Continue on to Pointe de Penbert. You’ll have a breathtaking view of the Cairn de Gavrinis as well as the wild islet of Er Lannic, home to some surprising, partly submerged megalithic remains. You can see this horseshoe-shaped enclosure of menhirs, particularly at low tide.
(3) Carry on southwards until you reach a path on the right.
(4) Turn right, leaving the signposted path, then turn left into Impasse de Pembert and head towards Rue des Ormeaux.
(5) Turn left to walk up this street, then continue along Rue de Montmartre to return to the starting point (S/E).
