The walk starts at the bridge over the Vesgre, 200 m from the Folie roundabout. You can park near the bridge: there are parking spaces at the start of Rue des Tourniquets.
(S/E) Head west along the path beside the stream. Follow the stream on your right.
(1) You’ll come out onto Rue du Parc; follow it to the left and pass the post office. At the junction, continue straight ahead into Rue des Fleurs. When the street bends to the left, turn right onto Sente de Tivoli. At the end, turn right and walk past the fire station.
(2) Take thefirst left, Rue des Vielles Tanneries. Cross the Grande Rue (one-way street, watch out for cars coming from the left) and continue straight ahead. At the end, turn left into Rue de Paris. Pass Rue de l’Enclos on your left, then Rue de la Tour. Cross the Opton via the Pont Saint-Jean.
(3) At the end of the bridge, take a path on the left. Follow the stream on your left. Ignore a small lane on the left and cross the Opton via a footbridge. The path runs between two walls.
(4) At the junction, follow the GPR des Yvelines to the right (yellow and red markings). Ignore a flight of steps on the left and, at the next junction, turn right. Cross the Opton again and climb up to the Croix aux Pèlerins.
(5) At the T-junction, turn left, still following the GRP®. As you approach the N 12, veer left and stay parallel to the road. Then take the bridge over the N 12 and follow the D 115 southwards for about 200 m.
(6) Leave the road and theGRP® and take the path on the left. Head down to Ferme de Vaux, pass the buildings and rejoin the tarmac road. Cross the Opton and turn right. Join the D 61 and follow it to the right for about 50 metres. Then turn left towards Maulette. Cross over the N 12 again. At the roundabout, continue straight ahead and you will soon reach the starting point (S/E).
