Park on Place du Tricastin, town hall car park.
(S/E) Walk down the tree-lined street and follow Cours du Mistral (D341) to the right, away from the village. At the roundabout, turn left onto Chemin du Bassin (3rd exit of the roundabout for vehicles).
(1) After the recycling bins, turn right onto Chemin des Rabassières. Follow this road straight ahead (south) until it ends. Then follow a small road to the right.
(2) Cross the D141 carefully, continue straight ahead alongside a shed and a silo. Shortly afterwards, turn right, walk past a house on your left and cross the Lez river via a metal footbridge. At the T-junction, turn right, ignore a turning on the right and continue to a crossroads.
(3) Turn right onto Chemin de la Magnanerie. Continue straight ahead (north then north-west). Cross the D117, continue straight ahead and ignore the turnings on the left.
(4) At the next intersection, turn right onto Chemin des Buissières. Continue straight ahead (north) and, at the end of the road, turn right. Ignore a road on the right and continue to the D341.
(5) Cross the road carefully and take the path opposite. At the junction at the foot of Serre Curnier, turn right. Shortly afterwards, turn right again onto a path (north-east).
(6) At the crossroads, follow a road to the right. When the road turns left, turn right onto a path. You will come out onto the D117 and follow it to the right for about 100 metres. Then cross the road carefully and follow the signs for La-Baume-de-Transit. Take the bridge over the Lez.
(7) Immediately turn left and walk past the church. At the first square, go up to the right, Rue du Château, towards the tower. After a left turn, climb the stairs on the left to reach the castle esplanade. To descend, go in the opposite direction, passing under a tunnel (take care). You will come out on Rue du Porche. Turn right and then left to rejoin Cours du Mistral at the post office. Follow the road to the right, then turn right to return to the car park where you started. (S/E).
