Park in the car park at the Ménéham site.
(S/E) From the car park, turn right and then take the footpath on the left that leads to the Ménéham site. Cross the village (free to visit) and you will arrive at the coastal path.
GR 34 marked in white and red
(1) Turn right onto the coastal path (view of the guardhouse nestled between two rocks), pass Pors Doun and its slipway and continue along the dune overlooking the beach. Pass a campsite (Ménéham Beach campsite at Bendin on the IGN map) and arrive at a small car park.
(2) Continue on theGR® trail, pass another car park, walk along Phare Beach and arrive at the car park for this beach.
(3) Cross this car park, head towards the road that runs alongside the Ponstuval Lighthouse (private access) and walk along another beach.
No markings
Turn right at the first path leaving the coast to reach the Saint-Pol Chapel and its calvary, as well as the guardhouse at the top of a rock (the chapel is incorrectly located on the IGN map). Continue to the Route du Phare.
(4) Turn right and head towards the sea.
(3) Here you have two options:
- return to theGR® marked coastal path
- descend to the beach and head west (marked route).
Continue to the fork in the road (look out for a large rock on the left).
No markings
(2) Turn left, cross the small car park and take the small Route du Triomphe. Pass by a large rock called Arc du Triomphe, which gives the road its name (note the private property sign on this rock).
Blue markings
(5) At a house (markings on the electricity pole), turn right onto a grassy path leading downhill and follow it to the end near a house. Join a road and turn left towards the small Chapelle de Saint-Guenal chapel.
(6) After the chapel, turn right into a dead-end road, continue straight ahead along a path between the fields and you will come to a road. Turn right onto it.
(7) At the end, near a house and a transformer, turn left and continue along a path between fields that leads to a small road. Turn right towards Kériot.
No markings
(8) At a cross, leave the blue markings that lead to a path on the left and continue straight ahead on the small road for about a hundred metres. Turn right into the dead-end road where you will find yellow markings near Kériot.
Yellow markings
Facing a gate, turn left onto a path (rock pile in the field on the left), continue along the path (small, inconspicuous menhir on the right-hand embankment). Descend to the left to reach a road. Make a short detour to the left to see a wash house and fountain. Retrace your steps.
(9) Turn left onto Rue du Lavoir, then turn right at the crossroads and continue straight ahead. At the end of the road, turn left to reach the car park (S/E).
