You can park your car in front of the lake or behind it in the unguarded car park. (Rue de la Fontaine is open to cars up to the car park and is then reserved for pedestrians).
(S/E) Walk around the lake to admire the ducks, geese and, from time to time, a grey heron or the geese that frequent the area.
Then cross the car park on your right and take the small path for 100 metres, turning left to return to Rue de la Fontaine.
(1) Turn right, cross the small bridge over a small branch of the Loiret (on your right, you will see the first mill). Continue straight ahead and then, on the left, cross another branch of the Loiret. Then follow the path, stopping at the La Mothe mill to admire the splendid unobstructed view of the Loiret on your left. After the mill, take the Sentier des Martinets on the left. On either side, there are open spaces where children can play and run around freely. This leads to Rue de Saint Samson.
(2) Turn left and continue along the Sentier des Prés. Continue along this path, which leads to the Allée des Peupliers. Turn left and continue to Rue de la Reine Blanche.
(3) Turn right and follow this street until you reach the crossroads with Rue d'Ivoy. Turn left onto this street and continue until you reach the La Caquerotte neighbourhood. Turn left onto Allée des Écureuils, which is located immediately after Allée des Chardonnerets. Continue along the small path that leads to Chemin de l'Orbelllière.
(4) Turn left onto this road, then continue along the small path on the left, which leads to Rue des Cireries.
(5) Take this street, and at the end turn left onto Rue de la Roche for about 100 metres, then left again onto Rue des Rechinchats. Continue right onto Chemin de la Tête Noire. This leads to Rue de La Fontaine.
(6) Take the cycle path (to be shared) to the crossroads, which you must cross by changing pavements, and take the cycle path again, which will lead you to the lake (S/E) via Rue des Cygnes.
