Soumard Fountain in Saint-Andelain

(S/E) From the^19th-century Saint Léger church, head towards the town hall and cross the village to the viewpoint at the old water tower. In the village, pass an old Protestant temple that is no longer in use.

(1) At the fork, turn right onto the D153 and head towards the motorway, taking the path between the trimmed hedge and the vineyards.

(2) Before a roundabout at Bois de Nozet, turn right onto the path that runs alongside the woods and descend to Les Berthiers.

(3) At the T-junction, turn right and, at the Les Berthiers exit sign, take the road on the left and continue until you reach a crossroads in the vineyards.

(4) At the end of the road, go down to the left and continue straight ahead until you reach a road. Turn right and continue straight ahead. Cross the crossroads near Les Cassiers and continue straight ahead until you reach the crossroads shortly afterwards.

(5) Turn left onto the road (with a field on one side and vineyards on the other) and continue straight ahead until you reach a road.

(6) At the three-way junction, turn right onto the road (Rue de l'Abreuvoir) and pass the place called Le Domaine.

(7) At the second three-way junction, turn left onto Route du Lavoir and, after the Fontaine du Petit Soumard in the bend, take the path on the right uphill. Continue to the D153.

(8) Turn right towards Les Cassiers and turn left onto the path with the bell tower in sight. Continue until you reach a road and follow it to the right for a few dozen metres. Take the hairpin bend to the left onto the D553b (towards Riaux).

(9) Turn onto the^first road on the right downhill, then follow the road all the way to the cemetery hill (steep climb) and continue straight ahead to the church (S/E).
