The walk crosses woods and fields and offers views of numerous small heritage sites (low walls, cazelles, wells, crosses, church). The path passes by the foot of the Saillagol mill, which has been restored and is in operation on certain dates.
The Château de la Reine Margot
Here is a suggested route showcasing exceptional heritage, from Beauregard to Saint-Projet, where the Château de la Reine Margot awaits your visit. The circular route follows theGR® 36 and 46 trails, as well as theGR® de Pays Midi-Quercy and twoPR® trails, one of which leads to the Perte du Cros site (access to which has already been described on another route), with just a short stretch of tarmac needed to link these different sections.
