The route starts in Champeix, passes through the hills with views of the Couze Chambon valley, crosses the large site of the Saint-Julien cellars, then wanders through the pretty village of Montaigut-le-Blanc, before following the Couze back to Champeix, where you can visit the old Marchidial district and its gardens.
Puy de Gourdon via Puy de la Rodde
A return trip to the summit of Puy de Gourdon, offering a beautiful panoramic view, is added to a circular route around and on Puy de la Rodde, starting from the medieval village of Montaigut-le-Blanc.

From Besse-et-Saint-Anastaise to Murol
First stage of a 5-day route.
This stage takes you through the mountain pastures to the medieval town of Murol. A very pretty route ending near Lake Chambon.
Between Puy de Sancy and Monts Dore
A very beautiful route that takes you along the ridges of Sancy and through the medieval villages of Besse and Murol, betweenGR®4andGR®30.
This route can be done in stages, staying in hotels or lodges. The addresses where we stopped will be indicated in the stage descriptions.
Saint-Genès bourg - Laschamps via the pass between Mercœur and Lassolas
This fourth stage marks the beginning of a wilder route that leads to the foot of the puys, through mountain pastures and woods. It also allows you to discover a pretty village, Beaune le Chaud, which has a beautiful traditional architectural heritage.
Ceyrat - Saint-Genès village via Chaos de la Faille and Artière
A third, very "geological" stage, allowing you to discover an impressive rock chaos, evidence of the Limagne Fault that borders the Plateau des Dômes, and the small gorges of the Artière. The itinerary also allows you to continue your discovery of Ceyrat with a visit to its second ancient village, Boisséjour.
Voissières - Le Mont Dore
A return route to Mont Dore, taking care to avoid the same paths as the previous day.
From Pessade to Orcival
Starting from Pessade, the route follows theGR®441andGR®30trails, taking you past Lac de Servière, a volcanic lake, and ending in Orcival with its magnificent Romanesque basilica built between 1146 and 1178.
From Pessade to Mont-Dore
Stage 3 of the "Between Puy de Sancy and Monts Dore" route.
A very pretty stage, starting with a route at the bottom of the valley and ending with passages along the ridges of the various puys before Mont-Dore.
Beaumont - Ceyrat via Puy de Montrognon
A fairly short second stage between Beaumont and Ceyrat, passing by the pretty Moulin de la Tranchère, a renovated mill on the banks of the Artière, then by the summit of Puy de Montrognon, crowned by a tower that is the remains of a medieval castle.
