Park on Rue Carnot on the D190. Free parking is available on the left and right at the top of the street.
(S/E) Walk down to the village and head towards the port in the direction of Fort Vauban.
(1) Cross the footbridge. In the middle of the car park, turn right towards the museum, then walk along the fort via the dry moat to reach the car park of the Hôtel Musée de la Citadelle Vauban.
(2) At the hotel car park, take theGR®340marked coastal path. Stay on the path until you reach Route de Taillefer (tarmac road).
(3) Then turn right towards Port Saint-Julien.
(4) At the exit of Port Saint-Julien, rejoin the marked coastal path which leads to Pointe de Taillefer and its fort.
(5) Continue on theGR® to reach Port Fouquet.
(6) Once at Port Fouquet, go up the road on the left. At the first crossroads, take the path opposite and join the D30, Route de Sauzon.
(7) Turn left, then take the first right towards the hamlet of Loctudy. Continue towards the water tower.
(8) At the water treatment plant, turn left towards the tree-top adventure course, Route du Bois Trochu.
(9) After about 500 metres, turn left towards Bordustart. In the hamlet, take the second left then the first right towards Palais. Head towards the port of Palais. Pass in front of the hospital and reach the footbridge via Rue Joseph Le Brix.
(1) Cross the footbridge and turn right into a passageway leading to the lighthouse at the end of the fort's pier, where you can enjoy the view of the small port of Le Palais.
(10) Retrace your steps, cross the footbridge again (1), and walk up Rue Carnot to return to the car park (S/E).
