Double circular loops from the Croix des Lafonds via Bellevue

Park at the side of the road, near the Croix de Lafonds.

(S/E) With your back to the cross, head straight ahead towards the Route des Lafonds. Follow the road towards Mulnet for about 500 m. As you leave the hamlet of Lafonds, look for a path on the right at the bend.

(1) Turn right and make sure you close the gates properly behind you. Further on, the path becomes a lovely sunken track, which may be damp depending on the weather. Cross the Route des Poissons.

(2) Turn right. The village track leads to a road. Turn right, follow the road and return to the cross, the end of the first circular route.

(S/E) Take the D182 on the left, towards Saint-Germain Chassenay, and continue to the second path on the right.

(3) Walk gently uphill to the right. You’ll reach a crossroads.

(4) Turn right towards Les Bruyères Sébaud. At the T-junction, turn right and cross the hamlet. Further on, keep right again until you reach Bellevue. Enjoy the sight of the beautiful Charolais cattle grazing.

(5) In front of the Bellevue access road, follow the path to the right which descends further on. Enjoy the view of the surrounding countryside and the beautiful oak trees. The path ends at the D182. Turn left to return to the Croix des Lafonds (S/E).
