Parking at the Pavezin school square where vehicles can be left.
(S/E) Turn left onto the D30 for a few metres, then take the first road on the left. It descends for about 1 km and joins the departmental road.
(1) Turn left and follow the road for about 100 metres, then take the paved municipal road on the left towards "Bois Colombet". In the hamlet, continue straight ahead until you reach the crossroads near the stream.
(2) Turn right, cross the stream and go uphill, following the yellow and white markings (Pavezin). Be careful, after about 100 metres, this path branches off to the right, then after about 200 metres, to the left and leaves the forest.
(3) Turn left at the edge of the forest and then right at the edge of the trees. Continue uphill to reach the ridge at a place called "Le Grattey"
(4) Turn left, cross the departmental road and continue along the path perpendicular to the road. Brown signposting.
This will take you to a place called "Grange Rouet".
(5) In the hamlet of Grange-Rouet, go up to the right towards the inn, cross the car park and take the path on the right. At the next crossroads, go down to the left.
For the brave, it is worth turning right and climbing a hundred metres to discover the Rhône valley and the Col de l'Oeillon.
On the way down, take the time to look at the beech trees on your left... one of them will surprise you with its sculptures... You will arrive on the Route de Grange Rouet.
(6) Take the paved municipal road on the right for about 100 metres. After about 300 metres, take the forest track on the right (yellow and white markings). Cross a path and continue to the entrance of a bend to the right of the forest track.
(7) Leave the yellow and white markings, but stay on the track that turns south after the bend and joins a dirt track that is also a crossroads.
(8) Take the path that descends to the left and continue along it, keeping to the left. You will arrive at the Col de Pavezin. View of the Alps.
(9) Cross the crossroads towards the inn, to the left of the cross (in the centre of the crossroads), and immediately turn left onto the shaded path surrounded by low stone walls near the fire hydrant and the Pavezin town hall notice board. This path quickly leads to the village, then left onto the D30 and the school car park (S/E).
