Depart from the small car park at the Belvédère de Vaux. During the high season, this car park fills up quickly and there are few alternatives. If you are unable to park, the solution is to start the circular walk at point 3, where parking will be easier.
(S/E) Turn left, heading south, and walk down the road for about 100 metres until you reach a fork.
(1) Turn right onto the tarmac road that climbs slightly. This road becomes grassy and passes through fields on the plateau. This is the highest point of the route. Continue straight on the road that descends, runs alongside Bois Fauvel, then enters it and joins a road at the Bois Fauvel roundabout.
(2) Cross the crossroads and take the road opposite, which leads to Éclusier-Vaux. Pass the buildings of the Maison Familiale Rurale.
(3) Before the sign marking the entrance to the village, take the tarmac path on the left that runs alongside the ponds, then turn left in the middle of the fields and arrive at the edge of the woods.
(4) Turn left onto the path between the field and the woods until you reach a road.
(5) Follow it to the right and cross the hamlet of Vaux. Then turn right onto the quiet road that runs alongside the ponds, leave the hamlet and continue straight ahead. After a slight climb and then a short descent, you will arrive at the right-hand bend at Garenne de Bellevue.
(6) Leave the road and take the path on the far left that climbs towards the Bois des Coquelins and across the fields. Join a road at Mont Vivien.
(7) Take it on the left to return to the starting point (S/E).
