Description of the walk

Park in the small square opposite the church. Avoid parking too close to the church: risk of falling stones.

(S/E) Head towards the church and turn left onto Rue du Cimetière. Walk past the cemetery and continue to the junction with the D146.

(1) Cross the road and continue along the path opposite.

(2) Take the path on the right and head to a junction located right next to the railway line. TGV line (Paris–Lille) partially hidden by the forest.

(3) Turn left towards Leforest.

(4) Ignore the grassy path on the left and continue straight on through the Linière valley. Reach Leforest.

(5) Continue to the right along the main road (D146a) which passes through the Gransart valley and joins the Combles to Maurepas road (D146) at the top.

(6) Turn left, follow the Bois Douage on your right and continue to the mast located just before the entrance to Maurepas.

(7) Take the path on the left. At the end of this path, walk alongside the French National Cemetery at Maurepas.

(8) First turn right then left, as if leaving the village, to return to the first junction passed on the way out.

(1) Turn right and enter the village, passing the civil cemetery again. Continue straight on to return to the church (S/E).
