(S/E) From the Petite Muret equestrian centre, take the path on the right that runs alongside the pond and continue to the hamlet of Les Pierres. At the crossroads, go straight ahead and cross the hamlet. On leaving, take the path on the left.
(1) Turn right at the three-way junction and then left at the next crossroads. Cross the road and continue straight on to the hamlet of Laurière.
(2) Turn right, then take the first path on the left. Head back down towards Excideuil, and at the crossroads, turn right.
(3) Take the first path on the left (not shown on the map) and cross the forest.
(4) Back on the road, follow it to the left as far as the hamlet of Les Vergnes. Walk through the hamlet.
(5) Take the first path on the left. Stay on this path to reach Grand Royères after turning left at the junction.
(6) Follow the road to the left for about a hundred metres, then take the path on the left which will lead you to Puy Bertrand.
(7) Walk through the hamlet and continue along the path in front of you. At the four-way crossroads, carry straight on along the path.
(8) Take the road on the left, then the path on the right. Continue straight on until you reach the D920.
(9) Follow this road on the left.
(10) Take the second path on the left. At the fork, turn right and take a moment to admire the dolmen. Continue north-east.
(11) At the crossroads, turn right, then left. Keep left at the next three junctions to arrive opposite the charming Grand Muret estate.
(12) Head back down to the left along a pretty, sunken path and walk alongside the Étang des Gardèches.
(13) The track takes you straight back to the car park (S/E).
