The start is indicated here at Les Bordes, but you can also start from the villages of Maucloup or Catheraud, where it is fairly easy to park along the roads. If you come with a van, you can park it in the Connexions Equestres car park, where we will be delighted to welcome you.
(S/E) From Les Bordes, take the D114 towards the village of Jabreilles. You will find a path that starts about 30 metres behind the last house in the village (on the corner at the D114/D114a intersection). Follow it until it crosses over the stream. Continue on the left, leaving the fork on your right. When you reach the road, turn left and after about 50 metres take the path that goes down the embankment on your right. You will walk alongside a small stream.
(1) Continue. When you come to a wide carriageway, turn right towards Maucloup. You will come to a crossroads with meadows and a house on your right.
(2) Turn left. You will pass between the pens of a pig farm. Pretty Gascon and "Culs noirs" pigs roam there.
(3) Continue until you reach the intersection with a path that climbs to the right: continue left until you reach the road.
(4) Cross it to take the path that climbs up opposite. Continue on the main path, leaving the others behind, until you reach the village of Catheraud.
(5) Follow the small road and take the first road on the left. It leads to a small path heading north that joins the D203.
(6) Turn left. Further on, take the path that climbs parallel to the road. When you see the road again on your right, take the path on the left. Follow this stony path downhill to an intersection.
(7) Turn left and follow the path overlooking a meadow on your right. When you reach the road, turn left. You will find yourself back on the path leading to the pig farms and the village of Maucloup.
(4) Turn right to return to the intersection where the isolated house is located. You can continue to follow the paths you took on the way there in the opposite direction.
(2) Alternatively, go behind this house and cut across, following the road to the right. Then turn left to follow the same path as on the way there in the opposite direction, until you reach the car park (S/E).
