From Carry-le-Rouet station, take the TER (in April 2025 – €4.40 per person) to Niolon station.
(S) On leaving Niolon station, take the road to the left, follow the path marked in blue and occasionally in white and red. You will arrive at the Calanque du Jonquier.
(1) Continue along the path to Calanque de l’Érevine.
(2) Go under the railway line, keep to the right to avoid the steep climb on the left, then take the second path on the left and follow the railway line. The path then returns to the coast at Cap Méjean (viewpoint).
(3) Continue along the path to Grand Méjean.
(4) Follow the tarmac road to Les Figuières.
(5) Turn left onto Allée de la Falaise for a short detour via Calanque des Figuières, then head back up Allée du Port to Chemin de Méjean.
(6) Continue left before the railway line for 150 m.
(7) Turn left to rejoin the path and continue to La Redonne.
(8) Take the steps and head to the Port de la Redonne.
(9) The village is steep, very steep, with constant ups and downs. Walk along the harbour
(10) Turn left onto the Chemin du Prebaire, then take the Chemin de la Redonne, the Chemin de la Madrague, then left onto the Chemin de la Calanque du Puits.
(11) You might want to dip your feet in the Calanque des Eaux Salées, then head back up the hundreds of steps and walk along the railway line.
(12) Turn left onto the path, then right onto Chemin des Eaux Salées. Entering Le Rouet marks the end of the calanques; follow the blue markings to Calanque du Cap Rousset.
(13) Head left along Avenue Gérard Montus and arrive at the Port of Carrry-le-Rouet (E).
but, to be honest, the coves are better seen from the walk than from the boat!
