Park in the Étang de la Varnière car park.
(S/E) Leave the car park, turn left towards Robert Magny via the D173, following it for about 200 m. At the last house on the left, turn left and follow this path along an old railway line which leads to the D4 at the 152m mark.
(1) Cross it carefully, head left for about 150 m and turn right towards La Fontaine Saint-Jean along a wide lane.
(2) Turn left, join a road and continue leftwards until you reach the 150m mark.
(3) Turn left to reach Montier-en-Der via a new cycle path. Pass the cemetery and, a little further on at the Fork in the road, take a small path on the left, Rue des Vergers. Continue to the old stud farm building.
(4) Turn left, then take the next street on the right, Rue des Pêcheurs. Cross Rue Saint-Berchaire with care and follow it to the right, then take the first left onto Rue de l’Église and continue until you reach the River Voire. Follow it to the left, cross the D4 with care and continue until you reach a small bridge.
(5) Cross the river, take the first street on the right, Rue du Professeur Bouchard, and continue straight on along Rue de la Varnière. At the end of this street, turn left to reach the car park at Étang de la Varnière (S/E).
