Along the route, signposts on posts have been installed, making it easy to follow the path.
Leave your car in the heliport car park, which is the closest parking area to the end of the hike. Please note: paid parking in Campomoro is limited to 7 hours, with a €35 fine for exceeding the parking time limit.
(S/E) Head west along Rue Giacomo Alfonso, then along the seafront via Caselle for 1.2 km.
(1) At the T-junction, turn right (north-west) towards Torra di Campomoro via Calanova.
At the end of the left-hand bend, take the path on the right where a sign clearly indicates the start of the Campomoro to Sennetosa trail. At the T-junction immediately following, follow the path on the left and you will arrive at a three-way junction.
(3) Leave the path coming from Torra di Campomoro on your right and continue straight ahead on the same track. From here, the trail heads south and runs along the coast.
(4) Leave the path on the left that returns to the village of Campomoro and continue straight ahead, following the coastline where open grassy areas alternate with rocky passages.
(5) At a T-junction, leave the path on the left that leads to the village and continue straight ahead along the coast. The well-marked path then leads to Portu d'Aucia and Cala d'Aguglia, a pretty cove that cuts deep into the land with its beautiful, quiet beach.
(6) The trail resumes at the entrance to the beach and gradually climbs into the scrubland. Halfway up, look back for a panoramic view of Cala d'Aguglia and its beautiful turquoise colours.
(7) At the fork at the top of the climb, follow the main trail to the left (north-east), ignoring a small path on the right. From there, the path runs alongside the Vangone d'Aucia stream, alternating between scrubland and undergrowth. After crossing the stream (which is easy to do given its narrow width), turn immediately left. Pass a first track on the right, then a second on the left.
(8) Viewpoint.
(9) Viewpoint.
(10) On a descent at Canusellu, ignore the path leading off to the left and turn right onto the path leading down to a stream. Cross the wooden footbridge and turn left immediately.
(11) At the crossroads 50 metres after the wooden bridge, turn right, ignoring the two paths leading off to the left, and start the climb.
(12) At an X-shaped intersection, do not follow the hiking trail markers that point straight ahead, but take the route on the right for horse riders, which descends directly towards the village. At the bottom of the slope, join the road by passing through the gate on the right intended for walkers. After 100 metres, you will arrive at Rue Giacomo Alfonso. Follow this tarmac road on the right to the heliport car park, the end point of the hike (S/E).
