Start: Le Vaudelnay (Place de la Mairie) – Markings: Red – Suitable for hybrid bikes and mountain bikes.
(S/E) From the square, turn right onto Rue de la Mairie. After about 400 metres, turn left. At the end of the road, turn left then right onto Rue François Cevert. Continue to the crossroads.
(1) Turn left, then left again onto the D77. Take the first path on the right and, after the wash house, turn left and continue to the crossroads, skirting the cemetery.
(2) Turn right, then take the first street on the right, Rue du Moulin de Battereau. At the crossroads, carry straight on and continue to the next junction, ‘La Bonne Dame’.
(3) Turn left, then immediately right onto the track that cuts through the vineyards. Carry on until you reach the road.
(4) Turn left, then right onto the path. Carry on straight ahead until you reach the Taconnet crossroads.
(5) Carry on straight ahead to the next crossroads, go straight on and then turn left. Follow this path to the road, turn left and continue to the crossroads at the hamlet of La Madeleine.
(6) Turn left onto the path that crosses the Bois de la Sanson, then turn left. Carry on straight ahead until you reach the road again. Turn left and carry on to the crossroads.
(7) Turn right. After about 200 metres, take the second path on the left. Follow this path straight on until you reach the road.
(8) Turn right, then immediately left; follow this track straight on until you reach the road. Go straight ahead and, at the next crossroads, continue straight on to the end of the track.
(9) Turn left and, at the crossroads, carry on straight ahead. Take the first path on the left, then the second on the right. Turn left and rejoin the road.
(10) Turn left, then take the second path on your left.
(11) At the junction, turn right and carry on until you reach the road in the hamlet of Messemé.
(12) Turn left onto Rue du Puy Notre-Dame. Follow the road for about 400 metres. After the bend, carry on to the crossroads.
(13) Turn left, then take the first road on the right and then the first on the left. Carry on to the crossroads at a place called Champagne.
(14) Turn right, then immediately right again. Carry on to the road, turn left and continue to the crossroads.
(15) Turn left, then right onto a track and carry on to the crossroads.
(1) Turn left, then left again. Take the first right and carry on to the road. Turn right and return to the starting point (S/E).
