The starting point is a square at the end of Avenue Gustave Charpentier, on the outskirts of Saint-Aygulf on the forest side, where it is easy to park.
(S/E) Take Impasse Gustave Charpentier, which continues the avenue of the same name, and follow it to the end of the street where several paths begin.
(1) Take the path that heads left, passing behind the houses, and follow it to the reservoir: views of the coast. Continue straight on for about 200 m.
(2) At the next junction, follow the path on the left which descends into the forest and then joins a forest track.
(3) Follow it to the right. Further on, two forest tracks cross: keep to the left then follow the one on the right which climbs slightly to the cistern.
(4) Take the wide path on the right, keeping the ridge on your right. Pass another cistern, then a path junction, and continue for about fifty metres to reach a magnificent viewpoint over the valley and the Estérel, with a bench for a break.
(5) Return to the junction and take the path on the left towards the forest track just below, then follow this track to the left.
(6) Further on, don’t miss the path that descends to the right.
(7) At the crossroads of the paths, continue towards the river along the widest path on the far left. A few dozen metres further on, follow a small path that branches off to the left. After a climb, you will reach the end of Impasse Gustave Charpentier.
(1) Turn left onto the street and head back the way you came to reach the car park (S/E).
