Start at the junction of the D8 and the DFCI track on Chemin de la Gaillarde. One small drawback: there are few parking spaces.
(S/E) Go up the DFCI track, which is used in this direction by the legendary "Roc d'Azur".
(1) Turn right and continue along the Chemin de la Gaillarde forest track until you reach a complex junction where you need to continue left for a few metres.
(2) Leave the track and follow the single-track path that branches off to the right.
(3) Cross the track to take the single-track path a little way back, which will pass over a hill called Lissandre after a sharp right-hand bend. Join a track at a forest gate.
(4) Turn right to reach Rue du Saupiquet and follow this street to the left for about 150 m. Then turn right onto Place Neufchâtel and continue to the antenna and the viewpoint located on a water tower.
(5) This is the highlight of the walk, with a 360° view stretching from the Gulf of Saint-Tropez to the Alps, via the Bay of Saint-Raphaël and the Estérel. Go back down and turn right onto Rue du Saupiquet. At the end, continue left onto Avenue des Druides, then turn left again after a few metres at the crossroads.
(6) Take the track that climbs slightly to reach the dolmens, a historic site on the walk.
(7) Turn back.
(6) Take the single track path on the right, which is clearly visible, and keep to the left. Continue along the housing estate.
(4) Go straight ahead and follow the same route as on the way there to return to the starting point on the D8 (S/E).
A lovely walk with some beautiful views, especially of the bay.
