Departure from the church in Morsang-sur-Seine. Parking spaces along the Grand Rue (D934), on either side of the church. Parking also available near the town hall.
Red and yellow markings
(S/E) Head east, leaving the church on your left. At the three-way junction, follow the D934 to the left towards Seine-Port. Turn right with the road (caution, narrow passage).
(1) At the end of the bend, turn left onto Chemin Vert. Go through a forest gate and continue along the path. Climb up alongside a wall on your left. Further on, ignore a path coming from the right, go through a chain and rejoin the tarmac road.

(2) Follow the road to the left for about 100 metres.
Yellow markings
Just before a 40 km/h speed limit sign, leave the road and take a path on the left (pass through a forest barrier). Further on, cross a small road and continue on the path opposite. Ignore a path branching off to the right.
(3) At the T-junction, turn right. Walk eastwards (wet sections).

(4) At the end of the path, turn right, pass through a forest barrier and continue along a small road. After about 200 m, enter a car park on the left.

(5) Then turn sharply left and go through a forest gate. Further on, cross a stream and, at a fork (not shown on the IGN map), turn left. Wind your way through the undergrowth. At a T-junction, turn right and you will soon come to a crossroads.

A few scattered markings without colour continuity.
(6) Cross a track and continue straight ahead on a good path (signposted Parcours du Ravin du Gouffre, green marker). You will soon reach a path coming from the left; follow it to the right. Cross a stream and continue south-southeast.
(7) At the crossroads, follow a tarmac path to the left and climb slightly. At the crossroads shortly after (plot no. 53), take a grassy path to the left.
(8) At the next crossroads (plot no. 37), turn right. Continue straight ahead, heading due east, crossing several perpendicular paths and going around a few wet patches. You will arrive at the Carrefour de la Table du Roi (signpost, picnic table, shelter).
(9) Take the first sharp right onto Route de la Seine. Go around a pond on the left and continue straight ahead (south-west) on the wide paved path to Carrefour du Dauphin (benches).
(10) Take a narrower path, roughly in line with the previous one but slightly to the left, leaving a bench on your right. Pass under a tree marked with the number 52 and continue along this pleasant path through the ferns.
(11) At the crossroads, continue straight ahead (west-northwest).
(12) At the next crossroads, turn left. Immediately cross another path, cross a stream and continue south-south-west. Climb slightly.
(13) At the T-junction, turn right and walk along a fence on your left. Then walk along a wall. Pass at the foot of a water tower and then in front of a gate.

(14) At the crossroads, go straight ahead onto a small road.

(2) When the road turns right, turn left and pass the chain you already crossed on the way there. Immediately ignore a path on the left and, taking the same route as on the way there, but in the opposite direction, return to the church in Morsang-sur-Seine (S/E).
